Q. Where does HomeCare Property Management advertise?

A. As part of our holiday rental services, we advertise your property in Málaga on many 3rd party websites that promote the Costa del Sol and holiday rentals. We also would advertise your property on all the major websites such as Trip Advisor, which includes Home and Away, Holiday Lettings, Air BnB, plus various other pages. In addition we have relationships with most of the real estate agents on the coast that often recommend us for holiday rentals. As well as our strategic partner NOVASOL, who have 50 years' experience for holiday rentals with 50,000 holiday rentals in 26 European countries.

Q. Why don’t HomeCare Property Management use booking.com?

A. For HomeCare Property Management to put your property in Málaga on booking.com the fee they charge would be in excess of any fee we charge, which would be a big cost to us hence a big cost for our owners. If you are with NOVASOL, one of the rental people we recommend, your property in Málaga will go on booking.com.

Q. Will the taxes now go up due to Brexit?

A. As we are part of Europe, the tax you pay on any rental income is set at a particular fee, it has not been decided yet if the tax rate will change. Our understanding at present is that certainly for the next 2 years there will be a long negotiation stage and no one knows what the tax outcome of that would be yet.

Q. Can I sign up solely with NOVASOL?

A. NOVASOL is a strategic partner of HomeCare Property Management, and we offer our clients the opportunity to contract directly with NOVASOL as they get very good rental numbers. But what NOVASOL do is instead of taking a flat percentage of the rental price (like we do) they agree with you a figure for each week, then they can advertise your property at any price they see fit.

A. NOVASOL is a huge, knowledgeable, and successful company. They are in 26 European countries, they have 20,000 rental agents throughout Europe, plus they have their website in 14 different languages.

Q. How easy is it to change my mind if I no longer want to rent my property in Málaga?

A. Our holiday rental services make it very easy for you to change your mind if you decide to no longer rent out your property in Málaga, however you must honour any existing bookings that are due to take place.

Q. If I rent out my property, am I allowed to come back and forth as much as I like?

A. Our online owner's area is a big part of our holiday rental services, allowing you to manage your own bookings as well as any of your own guests. This means you can book out any weeks you wish to return to your home in Málaga, or alternatively if you can see there are no bookings for a period then you can come and go as you please, however we do recommend booking out any weeks in case you get any last minute holiday rentals.
